Liiva's 14 points and 8 assists give him Hoops Agents 1 Liiga Player of the Week award

20-year old point guard Fredrik Liiva (186-PG-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for Rock Tartu Terminal and receives a Hoops Agents 1 Liiga Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had the game-high 14 points adding three rebounds and eight assists for Ulikool/Estiko in his team's victory, helping them to crush Rae Koss (#6, 12-10) with 17-point margin 99-82. Rock Tartu maintains the 3rd position in Estonian 1 Liiga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rock Tartu will need more victories to improve their 16-6 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Liiva as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Fredrik Liiva averages this season 7.3ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Sander Jarve (198-F-2004) of Rock Tartu Terminal. He is a forward in his first season at Rock Tartu. In the last game Jarve recorded an impressive 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Rock Tartu lost that game 66-71 to the higher-ranked Tamsalu (#9, 8-14). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Rock Tartu dropped in the standings to very bottom position. 19 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Rock Tartu managed to get this year. Jarve is a newcomer at Rock Tartu and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 10.1ppg (#1). He also registered 6.2 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Ulikool/Estiko's star - center Vladyslav Sinnik (203-C-2007). Sinnik scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Tartu Ulikool Maks & Moorits, helping his team with a 99-82 easy win against the lower-ranked Rae Koss (#6, 12-10). Tartu needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 6 lost games. Sinnik has a great season in Estonia. After 21 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.4rpg (#1 in league).
