American Forward Frankie Fidler (201-F-2003) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Rigas Zelli, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 23.
The 22-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, three rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Keila C. (#14, 3-23) 102-88. Rigas Z. maintains the 5th position in LAT-EST BL . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Rigas Z. will need more victories to improve their 20-6 record. In the team's last game Fidler had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Rigas Z.'s top player in his first season with the team. Former Michigan State University star has very solid stats this year. Fidler is in league's top in points (3rd best: 20.7ppg) and averages impressive 57.8% FGP and 40.8% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Rey Idowu (207-PF-1999) of Keila Korvpallikool. Idowu had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Keila KK lost that game 74-96 to the higher-ranked Valmiera Glass (#3, 20-6). Keila KK is still second from the bottom in the standings. 21 lost games are too many comparing to just five victories Keila KK managed to get this year. Idowu is a newcomer at Keila KK, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Bryant Thomas (203-C-1999, agency: Olsta) of BK Ventspils (#7). Thomas scored 21 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Thomas' great performance the Ventspils lost 84-109 to the higher-ranked Kalev/Cramo (#4, 20-6). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Ventspils needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 17 victories and 9 lost games. Thomas has a very solid season. In 26 games in LAT-EST BL he scored 13.8ppg. He also has 6.7rpg, 1.3bpg and a FGP of 68.7%.
