GET Vosges claimed the NM2 title. They overcame Challans in the title clash in Calais tonight. Nemanja Marinkovic (188-G-88) nailed 16 points to pace the winners.
GET Vosges earned a narrow 17:15 lead after the opening quarter. They stretched the gap in the second frame. Vosges accumulated a 36:29 halftime advantage. The margin kept on growing throughout the third quarter. GET Vosges piled up a 14-point lead heading into the fourth frame. They held Challans to just 15 points in the final stanza and sealed the triumph. Doume Pierrick Moukenga (203-F-87) netted 14 points, while Yohann Jacques (204-F/C-90) added 12 points for the champions. Lavar Simmons (201-F/C-83, college: Master's) answered with 18 points for Challans. Sebastien Cherasse (184-PG-84) had 13 points in the defeat.
