  French all-star: French team beats foreigners
In front of 14,700 crazy fans, the French selection, led by Pau-Orthez left-handed forward Laurent Foirest, who scored 27 points with 9 of 14 on field goals, won the French All Star Game played on Sunday afternoon, 126-113. Asvel forward Sacha Giffa nailed 14 with an amazing 4 of 6 threes, while Danny Strong of BCM Gravelines led the foreign selection bagging 20 points while Hollis Price of MSB LeMans produced for 18. Cyril Julian of Pau Orthez was named the game MVP after setting a double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. In the French selection, Claude Marquis of Cholet Basket added 10 points and his teammate Mikael Gelabale nailed 5 others, while for beetwen the foreign players, Rashon Turner of LeMans sank 10 and Dragan Lukovski, 9. Foirest scored the first basket of the French All Star Game played on Sunday at Paris-Bercy Arena, and led all the scorers in the first half netting 19 to give a 74-59 lead to the French selection, after a 36-31 cushion at the end of the first quarter. The foreign selection lost at the last minute, Asvel point guard Shwanta Rogers, replaced by Jason Rowe and trailed to 85-80 at the end of the third period led by Pau-Orthez guard Dragan Lukovski. In the last ten minutes the French selection managed the score and rejected all the attempts of foreign players to be back closer. Harold Mrazek, the Swiss captain of Asvel Villeurbanne, lost the three-point shootout final against Eric Micoud of Paris Racing Basket.
