Nationale 1949-50
In 1949 the championship system was re-organized. Due to increased number of teams, the third division was created (previously there were regional championships played instead of 3rd division).
Starting in 1949-50 the top league got a new name Nationale. Their previous name Excellence was given to 2nd division. And previous second division name Honneur Ligue was given to newly created 3rd division.
