French ELITE 2 round 4 best performance: Jayson Tchicamboud (by Hoops Agents)

Guard Jayson Tchicamboud (197-G) had a great game in the last round for Levallois Metropolitans BC, receiving a Hoops Agents ELITE 2 Player of the Week award for round 4.
The player was the main contributor (20 points, four rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat ASA (#17, 1-3) 89-78. Metropolitans is placed at 4th position in French ELITE 2. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Levallois will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. It's Tchicamboud's second year at Metropolitans and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Jayson Tchicamboud has solid league stats. He is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 7.0apg) and averages impressive 58.3% FGP and 50.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Tavon King (180-PG-1997) of Saint Chamond Basket Valle du Gier. King had a very good evening with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. It was enough for Saint Chamond to edge the higher-ranked Evreux (#3, 3-1) 89-86. SCABB's 14th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. King is a newcomer at SCABB, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.5ppg (#7). He also recorded 3.5 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Romain Parmentelot (190-G-2004) of Sharks Antibes (#7). Parmentelot scored 15 points and passed 11 assists (!!!). Despite Parmentelot's great performance the Olympique Antibes lost 76-78 to the lower-ranked Fos-sur-Mer (#18, 1-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Antibes needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Parmentelot has a very solid season. In 4 games in France he scored 11.0ppg.
