There were just four rounds played in Regular Season of Espoirs Elite U21 and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Espoirs Elite U21 top team - Cholet U21 (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Chalon U21 (2-2) 83-58. Cholet U21 forced 22 Chalon U21 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nils Lobry-Pathouot (202-2007) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Belgian Tom Kasongo (199-2009) contributed with 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Lenny Titeca (-2007) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds for Chalon U21. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cholet U21 have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Dijon U21 and Le Mans U21. Chalon U21 at the other side dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Cholet U21 is looking forward to face Nanterre U21 (#12) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Chalon U21 will play against Strasbourg U21 (#13) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Bottom-ranked St-Quentin U21 is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to ninth ranked Pau-Orthez U21 (2-2) 96-73. Worth to mention a great performance of Clement More who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 7 assists and 4 steals and Yanis De Marcillac-Lacroix who added 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Amadou Diallo responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pau-Orthez U21 moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. St-Quentin U21 at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Gravelines U21 and Boulazac U21. Pau-Orthez U21 will play against Limoges U21 (#11) at home in the next round. St-Quentin U21 will play against the league's second-placed Dijon U21 (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
Bottom-ranked Gravelines U21 is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to top-ranked Dijon U21 (4-0) 69-52 on Saturday evening. The winners were led by Eliott Hottelard who scored that evening 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 9 points and 7 rebounds by Cesar Thenawha did not help to save the game for Gravelines U21. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dijon U21 have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Cholet U21 and Le Mans U21. Loser Gravelines U21 still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Boulazac U21 and St-Quentin U21. Dijon U21 will meet bottom-ranked St-Quentin U21 (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
