French Betclic ELITE ProA round 6 best performance: Erick Neal

American Point guard Erick Neal (178-PG-1995) had an amazing evening in the last round for Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 31-year old player got a double-double of 28 points and 13 assists, while his team beat ASVEL (#2, 5-1) 99-94. Saint-Quentin is placed at 14th position in French Betclic ELITE ProA. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just two victories. Neal turned to be Saint-Quentin's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Texas at Arlington star has very solid stats this year. Neal is league's best passer with 11.1apg. Neal is in league's top in and averages impressive 2.1spg. Worth to mention Neal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second best player in last round's games was young Cameroonian Jeremiah Hill (188-PG-1995) of ES Chalon-Sur-Saone. Hill had a very good evening with 36 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Chalon/Saor was edged by league's leader Paris (#1, 6-0) 116-112. Chalon/Saone managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Hill is one of the most experienced players at Chalon/Saone and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.2ppg (#7). He also recorded 4.2 assists per game. Former Valdosta State University star Hill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Lucas Dufeal (204-PF-2003) of Le Mans Sarthe Basket (#4). Dufeal showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Le Mans, leading his team to a 106-97 win against the lower-ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#11, 2-4). Le Mans is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Dufeal has a very solid season. In 6 games in France he scored 7.0ppg. He also has 4.7rpg, 2.3bpg and a FGP of 84.0%.
