Simonovic's 25 points and 8 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

20-year old David Simonovic (209-C/F-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for Le Mans Sarthe Basket and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 25 points adding eight rebounds and four assists for Le Mans U21 in his team's victory, helping them to beat Strasbourg U21 (5-2) 78-71. Le Mans is placed at 3rd position in French league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Le Mans will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Simonovic had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Le Mans, through which he has constantly improved. David Simonovic averages this season 16.6ppg and 6.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Romain Valakou (192-G-2006) of BCM Gravelines Dunkerque. He is a guard in his first season at Gravelines U21. In the last game Valakou recorded an impressive double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Gravelines-Dunkerque to another comfortable win 97-78 over the lower-ranked ASVEL U21 (#10, 3-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Gravelines to move up to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 5-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Valakou is a newcomer at Gravelines and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Yssam Moungalla (196-G-2005) of AS Monaco Basket U21 team (#4). Moungalla got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . He was a key player of Monaco U21, leading his team to a 99-85 easy win against the lower-ranked St-Quentin U21 (#12, 2-5). Monaco U21 needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Moungalla has a great season in France. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (9th best) and assists with 1.6apg (2nd best).

9. Sublime Gbiegba (203-F-2005) of Cholet U21 - 21 points and 6 rebounds
10. Sasha Thiam) of Strasbourg U21 - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
