BC Rustavi 1991 (Superleague) signed 26-year old American forward Eric Copes (203-113kg-93, college: Orangeville A's, agency: Mansfield and Associates). He played last season at Green Machine (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S.
In 2015 Copes was drafted by Niagara River Lions (NBL Canada) as #1 pick overall.
He attended Orangeville A's until 2016 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. Copes' team won Albanian Cup. He was voted Eurobasket.com All-Balkan League 2nd Team in 2019.
Copes has played previously professionally in Paraguay and Albania (Teuta).
