B' Division - Sum Up of the season 2014-2015 - May 14, 2015

The end of the season found winers and losers to be fulfilling their season after nearly eight months tough work in one of the most exciting competition in the last decade with teams having in theri rosters players tht could easily play in the A1 league or in any other European league of the first division. It is for sure that many of these players will be transfer in either foreign leagues or better division leagues in the coming season.

In regards to the winners, the teams of Promitheas Patron with an amazing comeback and even though the challenge was huge every other week for the Patras team to travel half of the country to play the away games in the North part of the country, with players who were protagonist in the A1 some years ago, like Petrovic and Petropoulos and with players with international career like Tzakopoulos and Deep and with top scorers in various division like Nikos Pettas (195-G-81) and Dimitris Katiakos (it is worth mentioned that Pettas was teh leading scorer in both the groups after the end of the season with 21.5 points per game) were able at the end to bypass the top leading team of Doxa Pefkon, a team which was leading nearly from the very beginning the race but at the end and only three weeks before the end a surprising win from Stratoni, gave the promotion to the team from Patras, while the team of Mahites Doxa Pefkon will give its most crucial fight in the do or die game against the second seated (South group) team of Faros Keratsiniou for the third position which will lead eventually in the A2 league, a game which will be taking place on the 16th of May, 2015. That was the story in the North Group in which the four teams to be relegated will be the historic team of HANTH, Komotini, Aias Evosmou and Aspida Xanthis.

Now in regards to the South Group, the situation in the region was much more straight as the team of GS Kymis took the lead from the early start of the game and never looked back as the difference from the second seated team of Faros Keratsiniou was humongous, even though at the end the overall difference was two victories as with a record of 24-2 against a 22-4 the two teams were obviously driven to the first and second position. G.S Kymis and Faros Keratsiniou were newcomers in the division and like Promitheas Patras in their rookie season in the competition wee able to be promoted to the second best division of the country. With players coming form A1 like Kolokas, Milosevic, Siamandouras and even Erevbenagie, and with some top scorers in better divisions like Kakiouzis, Gizogiannis and Katranas and with obviously talented and focused players like Kapiniaris had not a problem to simply win the top seat and upgrade themselves in the A2 league. On the other hand, Faros Keratsiniou in its very first season in the division and with players coming once more from the A1 like Kompodietas, Moschovitis, Magounis, Petrodimopoulos and Sioutis had no problem in most of the games and will now fight to gain the third position against the younger team of Mahites Doxa Pefkon.

Will the experience win the youth or will the youth win the experience in the game which will take place on the 15th of May, we will soon going to evidence the result and see whether the yougth of Geromichalos brothers, Kelesidis, and even Marousits be able to beat the experience of Moschovitis, Sioutis, Petrodimopoulos??? Soon we will find out!!
