Danny Agbelese
According to a number of Greek Media, ASP Promitheas Patras (A1) landed 30-year old American (has also Nigerian passport) power forward/center Danny Agbelese (206-107kg-90, college: Hampton, agency: Octagon Europe). He is a well-known player in Greek Greek A1 as he played most recently at Kolossos H Hotels. In 20 Greek A1 games in Greece he averaged 9.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.3bpg last season. It was a very successful year in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 All-Defensive Team.
The previous (18-19) season Agbelese played at Holargos B.C. (also in Greek A1) where in 29 games he had 8.3ppg, 7.0rpg (#5 in the league) and 1.8bpg.
He is a very experienced player. Agbelese has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to five different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Agbelese has played previously professionally in France (Pau Lacq Orthez), Iran (Esteghlal), Italy, Spain (Ourense, CB Guadalajara and Gipuzkoa) and Uruguay (Union Atletica and Wanderers).
Agbelese's college team won MEAC Tournament in 2011.
He attended Hampton University until 2012 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
