Panelefsiniakos welcome back Nikou

Panelefsiniakos AOK Eleusina (B) landed experienced 41-year old 185cm point guard Thomas Nikou for new season. It is actually his comeback to Eleusina as he has played here before. Nikou played most recently at Eleftheroupoli in the A2, but left. In 21 games he averaged 6.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 7.0apg (top 2) and 1.6spg last season. B will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A2 3rd Team in 2016 and 2021.
The previous (19-20) season he played at Olympiacos Pireus 2nd team (also in A2) where in 19 games he had 5.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 4.4apg. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league.
He has spent his entire career in Greece playing for seven other teams: Pagrati, Near East, Alimos, Doukas, Enosi Kavalas, Psychiko and Doukas.
Nikou is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Panelefsiniakos.
