Athanasios Bazinas

ASP Promitheas Patras (GBL) landed 19-year old 194cm point guard Athanasios Bazinas for new season. It is actually his comeback to Patras as he has played here before. Bazinas played most recently at Agriniou in Greek Elite League. In 31 games he averaged 8.3ppg, 4.4rpg and 4.6apg last season. He also spent pre-season at Charilaos (A2).
Bazinas represented Greece at the FIBA U20 European Championship in Greece this year. His team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 7 games: 6.3ppg, 4.1rpg, 4.7apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 54.2%, 3PT: 16.0%, FT: 66.7%.
