Akadimia Kavalas Panthers ink Jovana Petrushevska

Akadimia Kavalas Panthers (A2) signed 23-year old North Macedonian ex-international power forward Jovana Petrushevska (184cm-2000). Petrushevska played most recently at Dafni Agioy in A1. However her team was relegated to A2. A1 was a little too high level for her, where in 8 games she had just 0.9ppg and 1.8rpg in 2021-22 year. A2 will be definitely a better match and she can see more playing time.
The previous (2020-21) season she played at Vardar in North Macedonian league. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
Petrushevska also represented North Macedonia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 Division B in Ireland seven years ago. Her stats at that event were 7 games: 6.6ppg, 4.9rpg, 1.4spg, FGP: 42.0%, FT: 40.0%.
