George Papas

George Papas

Maroussi B.C. (GBL) signed 27-year-old former Greek-American international 195cm guard George Papas (college: Monmouth, agency: Octagon Europe). He had been playing for Panionios (GBL) this season. In 10 games, he averaged 5.9ppg, 1.7rpg, and 1.4apg. Papas also played 9 games in Eurocup, where he averaged 6.2ppg, 2.0rpg, and 1.0apg. Last season, he played for another Greek team, Peristeri Betsson Athens. Papas was a member of the Greek Senior National Team two years ago.
He has played previously for two other teams: Olympiacos and Promitheas.
Papas graduated from Monmouth University in 2022 and it's his fourth season in pro basketball.
