Cory Joseph

Defending champion Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus (GBL) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old Canadian ex-international guard Cory Joseph (189cm-83kg-1991, college: Texas). He started the season at AS Monaco Basket in French Betclic ELITE ProA. Last season he played for the Magic in the NBA, where in 56 games he had 3.8ppg, 1.5rpg, and 1.6apg, helping them win the Southeast Division title.
In 2011, he was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) in the first round (29th overall). Joseph attended the University of Texas, and it is his 15th season in pro basketball.
He was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Joseph played for Canadian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2022 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2009.
He also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers three years ago. Joseph's team won Bronze and he averaged 15 points per game.
Joseph has also played professionally in France, the NBA (GS Warriors, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and Indiana Pacers), and the NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
