Fjolnir clinch D1 title - Apr 4, 2014

Fjolnir claimed Division 1 title. They outgunned Hottur on the road in the second game of the championship series to complete the sweep. Da'Ron Sims (195-F-87, college: W.Georgia) came up with 27 points and 18 rebounds to pace the winners.
Fjolnir used a 33:13 run in the second period to ensure a 50:34 halftime lead. Fjolnir unloaded 25 points in the third term to boost the lead at 19 points. Hottur could not recover in the final frame and Fjolnir conquered the trophy. Pall Helgason (186-G-89) produced 25 points for the visitors. Gerald Robinson (202-PF-84, agency: Court Side, college: Tenn-Martin) responded with 26 points and 14 boards for Hottur. Andres Kristleifsson (190-SG-95) had 18 points and 8 caroms in the loss.
