St. Mary's - Titans 83:77

Team Garveys St. Mary's celebrated Division 1 title. They held off Titans in the title game on Sunday. Jeff Teahan (88) exploded with 37 points to lead the winners.
Titans went on a 17:5 run early in the encounter. They ensured a 26:22 lead after ten minutes of action. Titans hung on despite John Jeff Teahan's heroics in the second period. Titans accumulated a 42:37 halftime lead. John Galvin (191-F-80) finally put St. Marys in front right before the end of the third stanza. Team Garveys opened a four-point lead early in the final period. They kept in charge till the final seconds and eventually eked out a tough win at the end. John Galvin finished with 21 points for St. Mary's. Declan Wall (173-G-78) had 16 points in the victory. Paul Freeman (201-F-83) responded with 26 points for Titans. MacMichael had 13 points in the loss.
Jeff Teahan was named the MVP.
