Maccabi win championship, with 3-0 over Hapoel TA

So, hat else is new?  Maccabi won the israeli championship for the 45th time. Hapoel was slightly better at the start, and had an early lead of 16-11.  Gibbs even led his team to a 25-16 lead. Sharas scored the last 5 points of the quarter, and pushed Maccabi to a 2 point deficit. Gilbert was the best player in the field in this quarter with 12 personal points. In the second quarter, Gur Shelef (204-F-74) scored the first 8 points for Maccabi, which had a 31-5 run, to a 19 point lead. Gilbert did not score a single point in the second quarter.
Maccabi continued to run in the third quarter, and Tal Burstein (199-G-80) had a few marvelous dunks. Despite a hard foul by hapoel's Sheinfeld on Shelef, maccabi did not stop in the last quarter. Maccabi's 12th and 13th players were on court, and they won with easily 112-75. And a sweet championship title.
