Maccabi Haifa signed 29-year-old 188cm guard D.J. Sharp for the upcoming season. It marks his return to Haifa, where he has played before. Sharp last played at H.Safed Galil in the National League, averaging 4.4ppg and 1.3rpg in 26 games last season. The move to Artzit should provide him with more playing time and be a better fit for his skills.
He has played previously for five other teams: Ramat Gan, Bnei Sharprtzeliya, Ashkelon, Galil Elyon, and Hapoel Beer Sheva.
His team reached the final of the Israeli National League State Cup in 2022.

Maccabi Haifa roster for 2026-27:

Guards:
D.J. Sharp
Joshua Friedkin
Or Tapiro

Center:
Elia Sror
