H.Haifa inks Keenan Evans, ex Igokea

Hapoel Haifa (National League) signed 23-year old American guard Keenan Evans (190-79kg-96, college: Texas Tech). He joins another USA player Lennard Freeman who is already in the roster.
Evans played last season at Igokea in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. In 14 games he had 11.1ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.1apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final. They also played in the Cup final. A very impressive season as he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Bosnia and Herzegovina League Import Player of the Year and named to 1st Team. Evans also played 18 games in ABA League where he recorded 11.9ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.8apg and 1.6spg (in top 2).
Evans has played also professionally in NBA (Detroit Pistons), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats and Grand Rapids Drive) and NBA Summer League (Memphis Grizzlies).
Evans was voted USBWA All-District VII Player of the Year in 2018 at his college time.
He attended Texas Tech University until 2018 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
