Maccabi Rishon Lezion is not giving up on the season and is making efforts to get out of last place and survive in the Winner Basket League. Archie Goodwin (196-G-1994, college: Kentucky), who comes from the league in Ukraine, following the escalation and the possibilities of leaving the country on the verge of fighting with Russia.

Goodwin (27, 1.96) was selected by Oklahoma in the 2013 draft and later played in the NBA also in Phoenix, New Orleans and Brooklyn. Since 2017 the player has traveled quite a few teams, until he came to the Ukrainian Bodivelnik which plays in Kiev in 2022. He said, in the shadow of the escalation in the region, he is reaching a new destination in Israel.

The Guard arrived in New Orleans in 2016 and then moved to the Greensboro Development League team. In 2017 he signed a ten-day contract in a Brooklyn uniform and later continued to roam. As mentioned, his last team was Budivelnik from the league in Ukraine to which he arrived only last month.
