Maccabi Bnot Ashdod (D1) inked 24-year old American 183cm guard Abby Meyers (college: Maryland) for upcoming season. Meyers is the second import player in the roster as Belarusian Kseniya Malashka signed here earlier.
She played most recently at Barking Abbey London Lions in British WBBL. In 21 games she averaged 14.3ppg, 4.5rpg, 2.8apg and 1.4spg last season. A very good season in her career as she was awarded Eurobasket.com All-British WBBL Sixth Player of the Year, Finals MVP and voted to All-Imports Team. She also played 11 games in Eurocup where she had 4.1ppg and 2.1rpg.
Last year she was drafted by Dallas Wings (WNBA) in first round (11th overall).
The former University of Maryland star is in her second season in pro basketball. She won English WBBL championship title in 2024 and the cup in 2018 and 2022. Meyers played also for Princeton University for 5 years.

Maccabi Bnot Ashdod roster for 2024-25:

Guards:
Dor Saar
Abby Meyers
May Revahe

Forward:
Kseniya Malashka
