Hapoel Petah Tikva (D1) tabbed 29-year old American 170cm guard Feyonda Fitzgerald (college: Temple). Fitzgerald played most recently at Emlak in Turkish KBSL. She replaced American guard Nina Rickards who played just one game with Petah Tikva. In 12 games in Emlak Fitzgerald averaged 12.2ppg, 2.4rpg, 3.6apg and 1.1spg last season. She also played for Botas (KBSL) where in three games she had 7.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 4.3apg and 1.7spg.
In 2017 she was drafted by Indiana Fever (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
The former Temple University star is in her eighth season in pro basketball.
Fitzgerald is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in seven different countries playing on three different continents. She is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Fitzgerald has played previously professionally also in Greece (Panathinaikos), Italy (Vigarano), Mexico (Libertadoras), Poland (Lublin, Polkowice and Torun), Israel (Ramat Hasharon and Maccabi Haifa), WNBA (Chicago Sky) and Turkey (Antalya).
Her team won Polish Supercup in 2022.
