RACHELE PORCU

Magnolia BK Campobasso (Serie A2) signed 21-year old point guard Rachele Porcu (165-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency). She played last season at Cestistica Azzurra Orvieto. In 28 Serie A2 games she had 10.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 5.1apg (leader !!!) and 2.6spg (in top 3). A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Italian A2 Honorable Mention.
The previous (16-17) season Porcu played at Treofan Battipaglia where in 22 games she recorded just 2.5ppg.
Porcu's team made it to the A1 Semifinals in 2015.
She represented Italy at the European Championships U20 in Matosinhos (Portugal) last year. Her stats at that event were 6 games: 5.8ppg, 1.3rpg, 3.8apg, 1.5spg, FGP: 28.6%, 3PT: 26.1%, FT: 90.0%.
Porcu has played previously for three other teams: Venezia, Anagni and Pordenone.
