Cremona tabs Gints Antrops

Gints Antrops

Juvi Cremona (Serie B) inked experienced 38-year old naturalized Latvian forward Gints Antrops (201-103kg-82). He already started the season at Bawer Olimpia Matera.
Antrops has played previously professionally also in Latvia (BK Liepaja, VEF Riga and BK Ogre) and Italy (Bassano, Lugo, Corato, Bologna and Lecco). He received also Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie B Honorable Mention award in 2020.
Among many awards Antrops' team made it to the Latvian League Semifinals in 2016 and 2018.
It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Cremona.
Antrops' game is described as: A powerful forward used to play the 4 position, who is working to make the transition to the SF.
