Basso is back at Ferrara

- August 8, 2021

POSTED BY: Eurobasket News

Beniamino Basso

Top Secret Ferrara (Serie A2) agreed terms with 20-year old center Beniamino Basso (205cm) for new 2021-22 season. It is actually his comeback to Ferrara as he has played here before. Basso has played for the last two seasons at Carpegna Prosciutto Basket Pesaro (Serie A). Serie A was a little too high level for him, where in four games he did not score anything and had only 1 rebound. Serie A2 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
Part of previous (2019-20) season he spent at Bramante Basket Pesaro (Serie C). In three games he recorded 10.7ppg and 10.0rpg. He also played for Pesaro (Serie C). In three games he averaged 10.7ppg, 10.0rpg and 1.0spg.
Basso represented Italy at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup in Ulanbatar (Mongolia) two years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 2.7ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.0apg.
He has played previously for Virtus Basket Padova. His team made it to the Italian Cup Finalist in 2021 final.

Top Secret Ferrara roster for 2021-2022:

Guards:
Alessandro Panni
Demario Mayfield
Federico Zampini
Tommy Pianegonda

Forwards:
Agustin Fabi
A.J. Pacher
Giovanni Vildera
Danilo Petrovic

Center:
Beniamino Basso
