Giovanni Ianelli

Virtus Kleb Ragusa (Serie B Interregionale) signed 23-year-old 190cm guard Giovanni Ianelli for the upcoming season. It marks his return to Ragusa, where he previously played. Ianelli is no stranger to the Italian League, having most recently played for Oleggio Magic Basket in the Serie B Interregionale. He spent the last three seasons (2020-23) with Virtus Kleb Ragusa (Serie B Nazionale), averaging 12.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.7apg, and 1.7spg in 28 games during the 2022-23 season.
He has played previously for five other teams: Ferrara, Roseto, Ancona, RO SAzzurra, and RO SAzzurra.
Ianelli played in the final of the Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals in Beograd in 2018.
