RJ Cole

Umana Reyer Venezia (Serie A) strengthened their roster with the addition of 25-year-old American 182cm point guard RJ Cole (college: UConn) for the 2025-26 season. He played most recently at Rytas in the Lithuanian LKL league. In 45 games, he recorded 12.2ppg, 1.6rpg, and 3.6apg last season. He helped them to make it to the Lithuanian League final after they ended the regular season as the second-best team. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian League Third Team. Cole also played 12 games in the Basketball Champions League where he averaged an impressive 15.1ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.9apg, and 1.0spg. The previous (2024) summer, he played at Stars of Storrs (UConn Alumni) in the U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament.
He has also played professionally in Germany (Braunschweig) and Greece (Lavrio).
He won the Lithuanian League championship title in 2024 among many awards. Cole received the All-MEAC Player of the Year award back in 2019 during his college time.
He graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2022, and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. Cole played also for Howard University for 2 years.
