Aamir Simms

27-year old American forward Aamir Simms (203cm-109kg-1999, college: Clemson) left Gevi Napoli Basket (Serie A). In 18 games in Italy he recorded 11.6ppg, 6.3rpg, 2.3apg and 1.0spg this season. The last season he played at another Italian team Umana Venezia. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. He also played 31 games in Serie A where he averaged 7.6ppg and 3.7rpg. He helped them to make it to the Supercup semifinals. Simms also played 16 games in Eurocup where he got 7.9ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.4apg.
He is a very experienced player. Simms has also played professionally in France (Paris Basket), the NBA G League (Westchester Knicks), France, and the NBA Summer League (NY Knicks and Denver Nuggets).
Among many awards, his team made it to the League Semifinals in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Honorable Mention back in 2023.
Simms graduated from Clemson University in 2021 and is currently in his fifth season as a professional player.
