Liga Unike round 1 best performance: Endrit Hysenagolli

Center Endrit Hysenagolli (208-C-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tirana, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Rahoveci (#7, 0-1), the league's bottom-ranked team 79-74. Thanks to this victory Tirana moved-up to the 3rd position in Liga Unike. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Tirana won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Hysenagolli turned to be Tirana's top player in his first season with the team. Endrit Hysenagolli has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 24.0ppg and leads league in rebounds with 18.0rpg. Hysenagolli is in league's top in and averages impressive 66.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old American Matthew Eldridge (203-F-96) of league's leader Kamza. Eldridge had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Kamza to edge Prizreni-16 (0-1) 96-91. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Eldridge is a newcomer at Kamza, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#2). He also registered 11.0 boards per game. Former Lindsey Wilson College star Eldridge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tirana's star - Julian Hamati. Hamati scored 19 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Tirana, helping his team with a 79-74 win against Rahoveci (#7, 0-1). Tirana has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Hamati also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Hamati as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be another team's leader.
