Gezim Morina claims Liga Unike Hoops Agents weekly honour

Slovenian-Kosovan Gezim Morina (204-PF-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Ylli and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 29-year old power forward had the game-high 13 points adding five rebounds and nine assists for Ylli in his team's victory, helping them to beat Kamza (#6, 2-3) 89-75. It allowed Ylli to jump to the first place in the Liga Unike. Ylli have a solid 4-1 record. In the team's last game Morina had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Morina has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (6th best: 2.8apg) and averages solid 64.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 33-year old center Endrit Hysenagolli (208-C-88) of Tirana. Hysenagolli impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds. Of course Tirana cruised to a 79-72 relatively comfortable win over Teuta (3-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Tirana consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 3-2 record is not bad at all. Hysenagolli is a newcomer at Tirana and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Gerard Davis (193-G) of Kamza (#6). Davis scored 17 points and passed four assists. Despite Davis' great performance Kamza lost 75-89 to the higher-ranked Ylli (#1, 4-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Davis has a great season in Liga Unike. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.6ppg (best scorer).
