French's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

26-year old American forward Hasahn French (201-F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Golden Eagle Ylli and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Tirana (#3, 1-1) with 28-point margin 87-59. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Ylli is placed at 2nd position in Liga Unike. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Ylli won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game French had a remarkable 70.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ylli's top player in his first season with the team. Saint Louis University graduate has very impressive stats this year. French is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.0ppg. French is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 70.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Morgan Taylor (190-G-1999) of KB Teuta Durres. He is American guard in his first season at Teuta. In the last game Taylor recorded an impressive 20 points, 2 rebounds and 8 assists. Bad luck as Teuta lost that game 92-98 to Vellaznimi (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Taylor is a newcomer at Teuta and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Jason Jitoboh (211-C-2001) of league's second-best Vellaznimi Gjakove. Jitoboh scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Vellaznimi, leading his team to a 98-92 win against #4 ranked Teuta in a game of the week. Vellaznimi has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Jitoboh also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Jitoboh as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
