Grbovic's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

25-year old Serbian forward Lazar Grbovic (203-F-2000) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for KK Mornar-Barsko Zlato Bar and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Derby (#8, 8-10) 102-87. Mornar maintains the 3rd position in Montenegrin league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Mornar will need more victories to improve their 13-5 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Grbovic as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Lazar Grbovic averages this season 9.5ppg and 6.1rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Kingsley Perkins (203-F) of KK Lovcen Cetinje. He is American forward in his first season at Lovcen. In the last game Perkins recorded an impressive 18 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Lovcen cruised to a 94-84 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Teodo (#10, 6-12). Lovcen's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 12-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Perkins is a newcomer at Lovcen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Lovcen's star - guard Milos Latkovic (196-SG-1993). Latkovic showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of KK Lovcen Cetinje, helping his team with a 94-84 win against the lower-ranked Teodo (#10, 6-12). Lovcen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 6 lost games. Latkovic has a very solid season. In 18 games in Montenegro he scored 14.7ppg. He also has 7.0rpg, 4.6apg, 2.9spg and a FGP of 66.3%.
