Enea AZS Politechnika Poznan (OBLK) has agreed terms with 29-year-old American guard Jessica January (170cm-1995, college: DePaul) for the new 2024-25 season. She has played for the last four years at MB Zaglebie Sosnowiec in the OBLK. In 16 games, she had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 6.9rpg, 6.1apg, and 2.4spg last season. She helped them to make it to the Polish Cup Semifinals. A good season as she was named League Player of the Week. January also played 2 games in Eurocup where she recorded 14.5ppg, 6.5rpg, 10.5apg, and 2.0spg.
In 2017, she was selected by the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in the third round (28th overall) of the draft.
She graduated from De Paul University and it's her 8th season in pro basketball.
January is a very experienced player. She has played professionally in Finland (HyPo), Romania (Alba Iulia), Slovakia (Piestanske Cajky), and the WNBA (Indiana Fever).
In addition to these achievements, she was named the Eurobasket.com All-Polish EBLK Guard of the Year in 2022. Her team reached the BLK Semifinals in 2023.
