Leones-de-Ponce/1954">Leones de Ponce (BSN) signed 25-year old American forward Darius Bazley (206cm-94kg-2000). It is actually his comeback to Leones as he has played here before. He just played at Ningbo Rockets in Chinese CBA league. In 12 games he had 4.9ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.2apg last season. Last summer, he played for Lakers in U.S. semi-pro league NBA Summer League. He also played for Leones earlier that season.
In 2019, he was selected by the Utah Jazz (NBA) in the first round (23rd overall) of the draft.
Bazley, an experienced player, has played in five different countries on three different continents (Asia, Latin America, and North America). He has played in the NBA for teams like the Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, and OKC Thunder, as well as in the NBA G League for the SLC Stars and Delaware Blue Coats, and in the NBA Summer League for OKC Thunder.
Among many awards, he was voted to the USBasket.com NBA G League All-Defensive Team in 2024.
