There were just three rounds played in Regular Season of Tipos SBL and we can clearly see which teams will fight for top positions and which will try to avoid bottom places. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Spisski Rytieri (2-1) in Bratislava on Tuesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Slovan (3-0) 97-62. Slovan dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Spisski Rytieri's 32. They outrebounded Spisski Rytieri 47-28 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Slovan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for the former international center Tomas Pavelka (217-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds. Luxembourg forward Ben Kovac (196-2000) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Caleb Kenney (198, college: Holy Cross) answered with 20 points and 9 rebounds for Spisski Rytieri. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Slovan is looking forward to face Prievidza (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Spisski Rytieri will play against Lucenec and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Levice (3-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat Komarno (0-3) 87-83. It was a great evening for British-Jamaican point guard Jelani Watson-Gayle (185-1998, college: Fresno Pacific, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 7 rebounds. Boris Bojanovsky helped adding 12 points and 9 rebounds. Levice's coach Michal Madzin allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Brandon Newman (193-2001, college: OK State) with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Levice will play against Kosice W. (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Komarno will play against Handlova (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Kosice supposed to be also quite interesting. Prievidza (2-0) played at the court of Kosice W. (1-2). Prievidza smashed Kosice W. 104-77 on Saturday. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for Jalen Smith who led the winners and scored 17 points. Johnny Hughes III came up with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for Kosice W. in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Prievidza will meet at home Slovan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kosice W. will play against Levice (#1) and hope to win that game.

In the last two games of round 3 Inter beat Iskra Svit on the road 82-81. Bottom-ranked Lucenec won against Blue Wings on its own court 94-87.
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 20 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals by Dale Bonner of Blue Wings.
