Erben's double-double lands him 1 Liga Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old center David Erben (200-C-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for BA PROMA Zilina and receives a Hoops Agents 1 Liga Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Inter Academy (#6, 0-1) with 19-point margin 91-72. Zilina is placed at 5th position in Slovakian 1 Liga. Zilina is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. Erben has many years of experience at Zilina, through which he has constantly improved. Erben has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 22.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 14.0rpg) and averages solid 64.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Alex Nagy (202-F-2007) of Spisski Rytieri 2nd team. He is a forward in his first season at Spisski Rytieri 2. In the last game Nagy recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Spisski Rytieri 2 lost that game 57-67 to B.Bystrica (1-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Third place about best performers goes to forward Martin Chlupis (202-F-2006) of Inter Basket Bratislava (#6). Chlupis scored 28 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.
