The Liga Femenina Endesa is the first-tier professional women's basketball league in Spain. LF Endesa was established in 1943.
The LF Endesa sits above the Liga Femenina Challenge which effectively forms the second-tier of Spanish basketball.
At the end of regular season, top 8 teams qualify to the play-offs.
The bottom 2 teams are relegated to Liga Femenina Challenge.
Limits of non-Spanish players per team: 3 import players (non-Europeans), 10 Bosman players (with European passport) . Total number of allowed imports and Bosmans is 7.
