GEiEG UniGirona welcomes back Ribas

- September 1, 2026

POSTED BY: Eurobasket News

Berta Ribas

GEiEG UniGirona (LF2) signed 22-year-old 180cm forward Berta Ribas for the upcoming season. It marks her return to Girona, where she previously played. Ribas spent the last three years at Spar UniGirona in the LF Endesa, where she struggled to make an impact, averaging just 0.9ppg in 11 games last season. The move to LF2 is expected to provide her with more playing time and a better fit. Despite her limited contributions in the LF Endesa, Ribas helped Spar UniGirona finish as the second-best team in the league and reach the league semifinals. She also appeared in 5 Euroleague games but failed to score and only managed 2 rebounds.
She has played previously for Tordera.

GEiEG UniGirona roster for 2026-27:

Alba Coma
Berta Ribas
Nuria Mitjanas
Berta Pages
Jana Fernandez
