Spanish Primera FEB round 1 best performance: Fran Guerra (by Hoops Agents)

International Center Fran Guerra (214-C-1992) had an amazing evening in the last round for Draemland Gran Canaria, receiving a Hoops Agents Primera FEB Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 34-year old player was the main contributor (17 points, six rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Oviedo (#16, 0-1) with 39-point margin 108-69. Gran Canaria is placed at 6th position in Spanish Primera FEB. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Gran Canaria won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Guerra turned to be Gran Canaria's top player in his first season with the team.

The second best player in last round's games was young Martin Fernandez (194-SG-2001, agency: Promo Sport ID) of Club Ourense Baloncesto. Fernandez had a very good evening with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Ourense to another comfortable win outscoring Burgos (0-1) 91-71. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Fernandez is one of the most experienced players at Ourense and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#2).

Third on the list of top players last round was Bulgarian center Emil Stoilov (208-C) of Palmer Basquet Mallorca Palma (#9). Stoilov scored 15 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Palma BM, leading his team to a 95-94 win against Palma Fibwi (#17, 0-1). Palma BM has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Stoilov also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Stoilov as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.
