Brisbane tabs Raul Neto

The Brisbane Bullets (NBL) signed 34-year-old Brazilian international Raul Neto, a 185cm point guard. He was in talks to join Longevida San Pablo Burgos in the Spanish Liga Endesa.
In 2013, he was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) in the second round (47th overall).
He has also been a member of the Brazilian international program for some years. Neto has regularly played for the Brazilian senior team since 2009 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
He also represented Brazil at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) two years ago. During this event, he scored an average of 4 points per game and had 1.5 rebounds per game.
Neto, a highly experienced player, has traveled extensively during his pro career, playing in five different countries on three continents. He has played for teams in Spain (FC Barcelona, UCAM, Gipuzkoa), Turkey (Fenerbahce), the NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Wizards), the NBA G League (SLC Stars), and Brazil (Minas, Pinheiros).
In 2024, his team reached the VTB United League Supercup Final Four.
