Mohamed Dabone claims Spanish U22 League Hoops Agents weekly honour

Talented Naturalized Burkinabe Mohamed Dabone (210-F/C-2011) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Barca Atletic U22 team and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 15-year old power forward had a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds, while his team edged out Zaragoza U22 (#6, 1-4) 89-85. It allowed Barca to consolidate first place in the Spanish U22 League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Barca U22 already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Dabone had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Barca and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Dabone has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.6ppg) and averages solid 1.8bpg and 70.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Dutch forward Matija Lukic (202-F-2009) of Casademont Zaragoza. Lukic impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Bad luck as Zaragoza was edged by group A's leader Barca U22 (#1, 5-0) 89-85. Zaragoza managed to keep the same 6th spot in group A. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Zaragoza managed to get this year. Lukic is well-known by Zaragoza fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Guillem Tazo (190-G-2009) of Valencia Basket U22 team (#5). Tazo showcased his all-around game by recording 22 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. Despite Tazo's great performance the Valencia U22 lost 86-90 to slightly lower-ranked Canarias U22 (#7, 1-4). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Valencia U22 ranking at the top of group A, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Tazo could help Valencia U22 to bring them higher in the standings. Tazo has a very solid season. In 5 games in Spain he scored 13.8ppg.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
