Teague's 24 points and 8 rebounds give him Primera FEB Player of the Week award

29-year old American shooting guard Macio Teague (193-SG-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Lucentum Alicante and receives a Hoops Agents Primera FEB Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had the game-high 24 points adding eight rebounds for Alicante in his team's victory, helping them to beat Burgos (#15, 1-5) 89-79. It allowed Alicante to consolidate first place in the Spanish Primera FEB. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Alicante already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Teague had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Alicante's top player in his first season with the team. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Teague is in league's top in points (7th best: 17.3ppg) and averages solid 51.4% FGP and 45.9% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Javonte Brown-Ferguson (212-C-2002) of Grupo Ureta Tizona Burgos. He is Canadian center in his first season at Burgos. In the last game Brown-Ferguson recorded an impressive 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Burgos lost that game 79-89 to league's leader Alicante (#1, 6-0). This loss caused Burgos to drop to 15th position in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Burgos managed to get this year. Brown-Ferguson is a newcomer at Burgos and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Djordje Simeunovic (201-F-1995) of Fibwi Palma (#17). Simeunovic scored 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Simeunovic's great performance the Palma Fibwi lost 73-83 to the higher-ranked Ourense (#10, 3-3). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Palma Fibwi can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Simeunovic has individually a great season in Spain. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.0rpg (4th best).
