Spanish LEB Silver round 9 best performance: Toni Naspler

Toni Naspler

Guard Toni Naspler (196-G-2003) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Zamora Enamora, receiving a Hoops Agents LEB Silver Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 20-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, five rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Moron (#6, 5-4) 87-72. It allowed Zamora to consolidate first place in the Spanish LEB Silver. Zamora have a solid 8-1 record. In the team's last game Naspler had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Zamora and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Toni Naspler has solid league stats. He is league's best passer with 7.0apg. Naspler is in league's top in and averages impressive 3.0spg,56.4% FGP and 64.7% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Venezuelan Edson Tovar (180-PG-2004) of CBA Gran Canaria 2nd team. Tovar had a very good evening with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Gran Canaria 2 to edge slightly higher-ranked Palma (3-6) 83-81. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the top position in East. But Gran Canaria 2 managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 10th place. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Tovar is a newcomer at Gran Canaria 2, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Guim Exposito (197-SG-1994, agency: Promo Sport ID) of Pajarraco CB Santfeliuenc (#7). Exposito showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, six rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Santfeliuenc, leading his team to a 81-69 win against slightly higher-ranked Alginet (#6, 5-4). Exposito has a great season in Spain. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.9ppg (8th best) and assists with 5.9apg (3rd best). He also has 2.9spg and FGP: 58.3%.
