In 2008, she was drafted by the Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in the second round (23rd overall). She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and it will be her 17th season in pro basketball. Anderson represented the USA at the World Championships U21 in Moscow Region (Russia) seventeen years ago. Her team won Gold, and she averaged over 9 points per game. She is a very experienced player. Anderson has quite traveled the world as her pro career brought her to nine different countries on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Australia (North Bears), France (Villeneuve), Italy (Schio, Venezia and San Martino), Poland (Gdynia), Turkey (Botas), WNBA (Chicago Sky), Spain (Barca CBS) and GWBA (Glo). Among many awards, she won the Australian NBL1 East championship title in 2023. Anderson was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A1 Honorable Mention back in 2018. She is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of the last seasons in her extensive career, which she may end at Gran Canaria. Her game is described as a high-scoring affair between two talented teams. A solid-bodied SG who plays hard every game, hitting the open jumpers, playing tough defense, and grabbing rebounds. |
