Lliria keeps Rivas for another season

Alejandro Rivas

Refitel Nadunet Basquet Lliria (Segunda FEB) re-signed 26-year-old 203cm power forward Alejandro Rivas for the new season. He played there last season. In 27 Segunda FEB games, he averaged 9.3ppg, 5.6rpg, 1.8apg, and 1.6spg. For the two previous seasons (2022-24), he played at another Spanish team Maderas Sorli Benicarlo (LEB Silver).
He has played previously for three other teams: Valencia Basket 2nd team, Palma Fibwi, and L'Alfas.
In addition to his many awards, he played in the final of the Spanish LEB Plata Play-Off in 2022. Rivas was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish EBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2018.
