Icelandic Tryggvi Hlinason (215-C-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Surne Bilbao Basket and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The 28-year old center had the game-high 22 points adding seven rebounds for Bilbao in his team's victory, helping them to beat Real Madrid (#1, 26-5) 88-82. Surne Bilbao is placed at 7th position in Spanish Liga Endesa. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Bilbao will need more victories to improve their 18-14 record. Hlinason has many years of experience at Surne Bilbao, through which he has constantly improved. Hlinason has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 6.6rpg. Hlinason is in league's top in and averages solid 1.3bpg and 66.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Croatian Luka Bozic (200-SF-1996) of Coviran Granada. Bozic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Coviran Granada was edged by the higher-ranked Barca (#2, 22-9) 101-98. Granada are still at the very bottom. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just six victories Coviran Granada managed to get this year. Bozic is a newcomer at Granada and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.8ppg (#7). He also registered 6.4 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international guard Ricky Rubio (192-PG-1990) of Club Joventut Badalona (#6). Rubio scored 23 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of Joventut, leading his team to a 101-79 easy win against the lower-ranked Andorra (#17, 9-22). Joventut needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 11 lost games. Rubio has a great season in Spain. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.2apg (8th best).

10. Cameron Krutwig (206-C-1998) of Lleida - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists
