John Rosendahl settled the game with 4.4 seconds left on the clock by making a free-throw. It was a tight game and not many points were scored when Plannja defeated 08 Stockholm. Plannja have now 7 gold medals and this was the second one in a row as Plannja managed to win last season as well. Best for Plannja was Andrew Mitchell with 14 points. Lulea Basket - 08 Stockholm HR 57:70 08 Stockholm HR is the Champion of Swedish league of the season 2006/07. With a 70:57 win in the third game, 08 Stockholm HR swept their series over Lulea Basket. Trailing by 5 points after the first half, the winners had an outstanding second half. Krista Rappahahn (181-G-84, college: Stanford) led the winnrs with 24 points. Jennie Thingwall (183-F-85) finished with 12 points, while Jasmina Pacariz (188-F/C-81) added 9. Christy Bacon (182-G/F-80, college: Wyoming) ended up with 13 points in the losing effort. 08 Stockholm HR won two previous games over Lulea Basket in the final series between each other. Not many specialists predicted the third straight win for them, especially in a road. 08 Stockholm HR proved the superiority and the outstanding performance in the Play-offs. They finished with perfect result in all three series, having 9-0 result. Lulea Basket started with 21:15 in the opening quarter and did not stop in the second. The hosts looked better and went with 5 points lead at the half. 08 Stockholm HR won the third and the fourth quarters with 9:18 and 12:21 respectively to lift the trophy of Swedish league. Even though the team finished second in the regular season and did not have home advantage in the series, it did not disturb then to win the National league.
